hissy fit
is an americanism that means "unreasonable outburst". You may look up the definition at some dictionaries, however I reckon women will not be very happy, being March and all.

My Son is 13 months old and throws the WORST hissy fits! I have a lot of patients, so usually I can brush his fits off. But I don't really want him to keep throwing these fits because eventually they will start going off in public and that would be very embarassing.
