IT'S NOT ALL IT'S CRACKED UP TO BE

Noel (not his real name) has been trying to understand the meaning of this expression and came to me.

Luckily for him ( and for me, after all, it's my blog) I was able to help him.


His latest article is not all it's cracked up to be.


It means it is as not as good as people say it is.
