DICEY

Hi João,

To answer your question, I will try to use the word dicey in context.

I looked out the window and it seems to me the weather is dicey so I am not going to the game tonight.

or

I guess Erica and I stayed friends for such a long time by not asking dicey questions.

Got it?

Dicey =unpredictable

just like rolling dice.

SHOOT FOR

What I am shooting for with my blog is to

give students resource to enhance their vocabulary.

or

So, this new year I wanted to create a challenge for myself and see if I can follow it through the year. The one-a-day challenge, I felt, might turn out to be too challenging (one picture a day, one short story a day etc) and so what I am shooting for is one-a-week.

WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT

Hello Annete,

You are going to have to use your head now:

e.g.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that you now live in a cardboard box.

or

I cannot wrap my head around Bham suburbs towing cars now.

meaning: understand how something works.
