Hi everyone

here's another word:

PULL IT OFF means to perform successfully, especially something difficult.(slang)

e.g.

Did he say he would walk home in time for lunch? He won't pull it off.

or

That's it.



BREAK A HUNDRED? and BREAK IT TO YOU

BREAK A HUNDRED

means to able to give change for a US$ 100.00. Specially when you are trying to purchase a cheap item.

e.g.

No one wanted to break a hundred so I could have a cup of coffee.

or



BREAK IT TO YOU

is used when you want to prepare your listener for surprising or bad news.

e.g.

I hate to break it to you, but you will be transfered to Nepal.

or


I Hate to Break it to You, but Mary Jane is a Filthy Whore
